The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, a national long-term healthcare organization, is! seeking individuals to perform Medicare billing functions for skilled nursing centers. Functions include verifying Medicare and insurance benefits, Bill all Medicare claims, Manage the Medicare accounts receivable processes for the skilled nursing centers.
Two-year accounting degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience; Prefer two years experience in long-term health care or hospital/clinic billing. Knowledge of billing processes preferred. Training will be provided to qualified applicants. Attention to detail necessary. Excellent phone and customer service skills required as well as the ability to multi-task. This position will be located at the Society’s National Campus in Sioux Falls, SD.
