Description: EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES LIFE FLIGHT - SANFORD MEDICAL CENTER EAST WING is employing Registered Nurse - Flight Nurse right now, this occupation will be placed in North Dakota. Provides emergency care to patients using the LifeFlight Air Ambulance, in ground transport, and at referral hospitals when ne! cessary following service area protocols and standing orders utilizing prescribed Sanford Health and Board of Nursing policies and procedures. Reports to As Assigned Education, Experience and Skills Requirements Adult Flight Nurse must have 3 years of intensive care, emergency room, or flight experience. Adult Flight Nurse must have Basic & Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification, PALS, and Advance Trauma Life Support course audit, Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, and EMT certification. Advanced certification of CCRN or CFRN is required within 2 years of hire. Licensure/Certification Requirement Same as Registered Nurse- Inpatient.
