Job Description & Requirements:
McCall and Lee is seeking a Physician Ass! istant in our Emergency Services to join our client’s team in the Sioux Falls area.

To keep pace with the changing health care environment ML seeks an ER PA for our changing and growing ER. Candidate should possess the ability to wear multiple hats, work without supervision, and backup.
Primary Function
Physician Assistant (PA) with medical direction from staff physicians provides medical care in the Emergency Department. Physician Assistant duties include, but are not limited to, obtaining history, performing physical examinations, ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribing medication and participating in the coordination of the health care team.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Retrieving all relevant! materials from referring institutions, physicians and nurses ! regarding care that the patient has received and reviewing all of those historical materials to develop the care of the patient.
2. Obtaining history and performing physical examination of s admitted to the Emergency Room.
3. Assisting the staff in the ongoing examination and treatment of patients.
4. Maintaining records.
Education, Training and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from general physician's assistant program.
2. Cardiac experience preferred. ER certificate would be great.
Other Requirements
1. Passed national qualifying exams for PAs.
2. Qualify for licensure
