SUMMARY: The Patient Care Technician II performs duties relative to patient care under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse. The PCT II is responsible to monitor cardiac rhythms duri! ng patient transports as delegated by the Registered Nurse, collecting diagnostic data and assisting nursing personnel in providing patient care in their assigned area.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- On the job training provided. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Successful completion of basic arrhythmia course preferred.
- Previous experience in medical field preferred.
