The Good Samaritan Society is seeking an individual to analyze and implement a revenue growth and/or revenue preservation plan for Good Samaritan centers based on specific and identified data. Duties of the position include but are not limited to research and application of Medicaid payment methodology, training to center staff, analyzation of data on the casemix index (CMI), implementation of changes and action plans to improve accuracy of revenue, and interpretation of Medicare regulations and Medicare MDS scheduling/coding. The person chosen for this position will have a four-year college education or be a registered nurse with 3 to 5 years of experience working as an MDS coordinator, case manager, nursing home administrator or other management position in a rehab/skilled care center with a focused working knowledge and application of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement. AANAC certification is required. If the person chosen does not have the AANAC certification, s! uccessful completion of the certification will be required wit! hin 6 months of hire date. Travel required. This is a Good Samaritan Society executive level position. The person will report to Dan Fosness, Director of Operations.
