The Nurse Aide/Certified Nurse Aide works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN to assist with general nursing care to ! patients/residents as directed by the nurse. The NA/C.N.A. duties include personal hygiene, comfort and safety measures, assisting with activities of daily living, and simple nursing procedures outlined in the job responsibilities. The NA/C.N.A. assists with maintaining a clean environment for the patient/resident in the rooms and other areas of the unit. The NA/C.N.A. has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate age related patient/resident protocols from pediatrics to geriatrics. The NA/C.N.A. works collaboratively with other interdisciplinary team members. This position may have access to medications for purposes of distribution by licensed personnel. Computer data input and documentation relative to resident/patient care is required. CPR training is mandatory and completed within 6 months of hire. NA/C.N.A. may be scheduled to work at Hospital or Care Center.
This position is full-time working 80 hours per two week pay period and will be required to work rotating ! shifts, weekends, and holidays. Shifts: 6:00am-2:30pm, 2:00pm ! - 10:30pm and 10:00pm - 6:30am.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Certification and successful completion of C.N.A. course which require 75 hrs. of formal classroom and clinical time is required within 4 months of hire.
