A Physician Assistant is needed at an Occupational Health clinic in Min! ot, ND. The PA will provide primary and ambulatory care as part of a successful and growing practice. North Dakota is home to many wildlife refuges, and is a great place for the outdoor sportsman and all who enjoy four seasons, www.ndtourism.com. The city of Minot has museums, a zoo, plenty of activities and a population of 50,000, with a strong local economy due in part to close proximity to the Bakken oil fields.
Fulltime
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
NO CALL; NO WEEKENDS
Possibility for flexible schedule or PT hours if desired
Full scope scheduled care and treatment of minor to moderate injuries
See approx. 12 to 18 adult patients a day
Typical visits include pre-employment worker assessments, medical care, and injury care such as reading x-rays, foreign body removal, treating wounds, sutures, splints, etc.
Nearby hospital directly receives complex or acute cases with no clinic involvement
Stable employment with a well-managed! and friendly practice
Medical Director very experienced i! n Occupational Health, accessible, and willing to train with a generous orientation period
Physician Assistant will have a nice degree of autonomy and input for this clinic
Recent grads with Occupational Health interest and comfortable with independent work are welcome to apply
Requirements:
Masters Degree
North Dakota PA license, or immediate eligibility
Occupational Health experience or familiarity with OSHA regulations a strong plus
Compensation:
$90k â€" 100k+, DOE
