Summary of Work:
Surveyors work as a team throughout North Dakota to determine health care facilities compliance with state and federal regulations by conducting on-site surveys and evaluating the care provided. Surveyors observe the care provided; interview facility staff, family members and patients; and review records to determine the quality of the care provided. Primary assignment will be to survey long-term care facilities in North Dakota.
The surveyor positions offer the opportunity to work and travel throughout North Dakota with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Surveyors generally work four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, and have weekends a! nd holidays off. Surveyors travel approximately 60 percent of the time.! Travel does require consecutive nights away from home. A state car is provided for travel. Surveyors may be selected to work from their own homes after one year of experience as a surveyor.
