Description: Aureus Medical Group is at the momment seeking for RN / REGISTERED NURSE / DIALYSIS RN / DIALYSIS NURSE right now, this occupation will be placed in South Dakota. Our facility is looking for a Dialysis R! N to December. There are 10 stations and they do acute and chronic dialysis. They currently use Gambro Phoenix machines. Most of the patients are chronic outpatients. However, they do have an occasional in-patient that comes down to the dialysis department to have an acute run.
They also provide bedside services in the ICU for their inpatients that are unable to come down to the department. All nursing staff and technicians work every other weekend (Saturday only) along with an occasional every 8th Saturday/Sunday on call.
They do not anticipate that the traveler would need to provide any on call/ICU bedside assistance at this time. Documentation dialysis treatment notes, progress notes, and all vital signs in Meditech. All orders are currently completed on paper. They start and end their day with an RN/tech combination along with a charge nurse.
