More details about this career opportunity kindly read the description below. Job Summary: Work under the general supervision of the Emergency Services Manager and Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. Responsible to assist the Physicians and Nursing staff in caring for the Emergency Services! patients. Must demonstrate skill competency and quality customer service. Essential Duties: The Paramedic must be able to perform a variety of tasks assisting patients and nurses in specified pre-approved procedures.
Must demonstrate technical, clerical and interpersonal skills. Must have strong organizational skills to effectively handle a heavy workload and maintain efficiency in the work environment, often under stressful work conditions. Maintaining a cool and calm demeanor, being flexible and adaptable to quick change in patient load. Must have a thorough understanding of patient care, patient flow, and ability to provide quality customer service, and maintain a good working knowledge of the facility.
QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completed appropriate coursework to be eligible for Paramedic certification. Experience: 1 year experience preferred. License/Certification: Current and valid state driver's lic! ense required.
BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications require! d.
