CPR certification required
At least 2 years of professional nursing experience
Collaborate with supervising physician to provide outpatient care in a clinic setting. Complete evaluation, differential diagnosis and treatment plans, postoperative exams, and medication management. Provide hospital inpatient care including cardiac care management, hospital rounds, progress notes, treatment planning, and discharge planning and summaries. Provide patient edu! cation about cardiac conditions.
Completion of an app! roved Nurse Practitioner program. At least three years nursing experience in a clinic setting.
Current RN and APN license in State of Illinois. CPR certified, ACLS preferred.
At least one to two years experience in cardiac care preferred. Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools. Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate well with patients, families, physicians and staff within the organizational and community. Excellent verbal, written, organizational and critical decision-making skills required.
