About the role,
We are looking for an experienced Accountant.
Job Summary:
An accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing financial information for businesses or individuals. They provide financial advice and prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Analyze financial data and provide advice on financial strategy and planning
Prepare and file tax returns and other financial reports for businesses or individuals
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Monitor financial transactions and make recommendations for process improvements
Develop and implement financial controls to reduce risk and ensure accuracy
Provide financial analysis and support for budgeting and forecasting activities
Communicate financial information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
