This position is located in Pierre, SD.
SUMMARY: The Nurse Manager has responsibility for the daily management of community-based services, ensuring the ! delivery of high quality, safe, and efficient care. Responsible for coordination of staffing and the schedule. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- A minimum of three years direct medical/surgical experience required. Home Health and/or Hospice experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate sound management ability.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure is required.
