:
Plans, provides, and supervises nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with physicianâs orders and established policies and proced! ures of the nursing department as well as professional standards of nursing, applicable Federal and State laws, state nurse practice guidelines, and regulatory agencies.
Communicates with physicians, co-workers, and other departments as appropriate about changes in patientâs clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology, and is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
The registered nurse has the authority and responsibility to intervene in crises, initiate emergency measures, and direct the activities of other nursing personnel in accordance with North Dakota Board of Nursing regulations, as these activities relate to patient care.
Cares for patients of all ages.
Qualifications
Education
:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
License/Certification
:
Active RN license in the state.
BLS trained.
ACLS trained.
