Description: FlexibleRx is employing SD - Sioux Falls, South Dakota- Part-Time Temp PRN Staff Pharmacist ASAP! right now, this job will be placed in South Dakota. Shift Details:

• Shifts currently needed are THREE DAYS A WEEK (all weekdays). At this time, we are assuming some flexibility on which days are worked is possible.
• Typical shifts are on Monday-Friday, 9:30a-6p (8 hours w/30 minute lunch)

Job Functions:

• The basic function is to check prepared medications before they go out (scan Rx labels, then product). Also, you may be checking unit-dose pre-packaging, emergency drug kits, compounding, etc.

Additional Possible Functions:

• While not required for consideration, the ideal pharmacist candidate would 1) be confident in clinical skills and would be comfortable learning the computer system in order to perform review of orders entered by the pharmacy technicians, and 2) possess basic kinetics dosing sk! ills and ability to answer dosing and administration questions! by prescribers and nurses. These skills will increase your importance on the team and could therefore lead to more assignments than the initial request noted above.

Requirements:

• Bachelor´s degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy or Pharmacy
• Current license in the state of practice.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• IV compounding / clinical experience is a plus (while it's not intended to be your primary job, it is a helpful skill)!
