WDEA Works Mildura provides Disability Employment Services (DES) and the NDIS service of School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES).

Job Description

The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience in either an accounts and/or bookkeeping position. They will also have strong computer, administration and time management skills and be self-motivated and able to work independently and under limited direction.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys providing a welcoming and helpful first point of contact for employers and clients at reception and over the telephone, administrative and clerical support for employment Consultants and staff members.

The role is based around providing general administrative support to our Disability Employment Services Team. The successful candidate will focus on co-ordinating outcome information to allow for the processing of claims as well as processing wage subsidy payments to employers, providing administrative support to Employment Consultants and other administrative support as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous administrative experience in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Bookkeeping Qualifications or experience an advantage
  • Solid administration skills, be computer literate and strong attention to detail
  • Possess outstanding time management abilities, priority tasking, problem solving and overall organisational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Great customer service skills and have a knack for making others feel comfortable in their presence
  • Current Working with Children check
  • Current Victorian Drivers License
  • Current Police Check
