Summary
Part-time (.6 FTE) Primarily day shift with occasional evening and weekend involvement. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for facilitating admission and discharge proce! sses for inpatients; conducting bedside rounds on inpatients and development, in collaboration with the primary care physician, treatment plans to meet the patient's needs; administers and prescribes medications and prescribes/provides direct patient care interventions as indicated by the patients's condition. The NP works collaboratively with the healthcare team to assure the safe and accurate delivery of care.
Qualifications/Specifications
- Education: Master’s degree in nursing required.
- Licensure/Certification: Current NP licensure in South Dakota required . Must have current BLS and ACLS. CCRN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. Minimum of one year adult, acute care with cardiology cardiovascular nursing experience preferred.
